Shrimp Tacos with Mango & Habanero Sauce

If you’re tired of serving the same old recipes, why not try something a little different? A shrimp taco recipe can liven up any dinner and your guests will be sure to keep raving over this step away from traditional Mexican fare.


- 2 1/2 lbs small shrimp peeled & deveined

- 1 medium onion, coarsely chopped

- 1 red bell pepper, coarsely chopped

- 1 tbs garlic, minced

- Small corn tortillas

- BeeSting Mango-Passion Sauce

- Iguana XXX Habanero Pepper Sauce

- Shredded romaine lettuce

- Shredded jack or Mexican cheese

- Fresh cilantro chopped

- salt & olive oil


Preheat a sauce pan in medium heat and sauté garlic in olive oil for 30 seconds or so. Add onions & bell peppers, and cook for 4-6 minutes, or until translucent but still crunchy. Lightly oil & salt shrimp, grill over medium heat about 2 minutes on each side, until just cooked all the way thru (oil grill first if needed). Warm tortillas on countertop grill or microwave for a few seconds. Dress each tortilla with a layer of vegetables, shrimp, lettuce, cheese and cilantro. Then sprinkle to taste with both BeeSting Mango-Passion and Iguana XXX Habanero Pepper Sauces. Fold-up and serve as soon as possible with mucho cerveza bien fria!
